EXPERIENCE A RHODE ISLAND FAVORITE AND POPULAR RIVER TOUR ON THE NEXT BLACKSTONE CULINARIA SECRET INGREDIENT FOOD TOUR HAPPENING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

Wednesday evening, September 16, come out an experience a wonderful late summer early evening excursion on the headwaters of Narragansett Bay, while enjoying Rhode Island chowder and clamcakes, at the next Blackstone Culinaria Secret Ingredient Food Tour.

Venture on a scenic and interpretive tour along the Pawtucket River on the 40 passenger river tour boat Blackstone Valley Explorer, operating from the newly rebuilt Festival Pier, located in Pawtucket , RI .

During the tour, you will enjoy chowder and clamcakes, prepared by Mickey Gís. Plus, see panoramic perspectives along the Pawtucket waterfront. Get to see river views of Downtown Pawtucket from the Division Street Bridge and view amazing urban riverfront, as the Pawtucket River becomes the Seekonk River and travels to the fashionable upper East Side of Rhode Island ís capital city of Providence .

On recent tours, passengers have spotted unusual wildlife making their homes on the river, including our nationís symbol, the American Bald Eagle.

And, discover the heritage of the area, which is now part of the newly established Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park.

The event starts at 5:30 pm, followed by the river tour at 6:15 pm. Tickets for the food tour are at $18 per person. Advanced reservations are required.
